NativeConnect is an App Store Connect client for Mac that will save you hours a week
1 October 2018 — Today indie Cocoa Developer Vadim Shpakovski announces his new product, NativeConnect. This app is an advanced desktop manager for accounts, apps, versions, sales, and reviews in App Store Connect — a suite of tools for managing App Store titles for iOS, macOS and tvOS.
For Release Managers, NativeConnect is a tool for reviewing daily, weekly and monthly product sales. It also allows to add In-App Purchases and validate metadata before submission.
For ASO Professionals, NativeConnect makes it possible to edit descriptions and screenshots while being offline. You can also find and replace keywords, or check and reply to user reviews right in the app.
For Developers, this product provides the best way to organize apps into libraries e.g. split your App Store titles by platform or by genre. Moreover, you can work with multiple accounts in one window or in multiple tabs. Generating promo codes in NativeConnect is a cake.
Built from the ground up on macOS Mojave 10.14 and being 100% AppKit, NativeConnect is amazing and streamlined user experience for people who appreciate native and accessible developer tools. The app works offline, manages localizations in a great user interface, supports drag & drop and has all expected macOS integrations e.g. Dark Mode.
Besides local metadata editing, the defining feature of this product is its open file package format. Each library, account, app and version in NativeConnect is a document which can be copied, shared for collaboration, put under the version control system, and even edited by hand. The app can be used as an editor for previews, screenshots and keywords, or as a manager for API Keys.
NativeConnect is a free app and it will be released for public early next year. Till then you should join the waiting list for exclusive access to the private beta. In addition, those who register their interest before public launch, would get a discount for the first year of subscription.
Subscription will be necessary only for pushing data back to App Store Connect. You will not pay anything for downloading and editing metadata locally.
Vadim Shpakovski is an experienced AppKit and UIKit Developer. In the past he worked both independently and in product teams on useful apps such as CodeBox, ResolutionTab, Timelytics, Saver, and Cirkus. There is a chance that one of the apps on your Mac uses his open-source code.
